School Supplies for 2019-2020

Camarena Elementary goal is to provide as many needed supplies to the student as possible. However, the following items will greatly help your child get the year off to a good start. If purchasing any of these items is a concern, please communicate with me and together we will come up with a solution.

• ONE 3-Subject Spiral Notebooks used for Math
• THREE 1-Subject Spiral Notebook used for Reading, Writing, Science/Social Studies
  • Almost all student notes/practice work will be written and/or glued into these notebooks for the entire year, to be used as Study Guides. The appropriate size makes this process efficient.
  • 8 ½ by 11 inches, Different Colors for different subjects, PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE
    (5 Star or similar brand) 
  • These notebooks should already have pockets inside them
• ONE Folder (preferably 2-pocket plastic/poly folder) used for Homework Folder
• ONE Small Pencil Pouch/Box 
• Dry erase marker **OPTIONAL – School only provides thin black marker**
• Dry erase marker eraser or an old sock to keep in desk
• Earbuds/Headphones to keep at school
  • Doesn’t need to be expensive, as long as it works
  • NO large headsets or Bluetooth capabilitiees
• Independent Reading Book – (MUST BRING TO CLASS EVERYDAY)

 

*Please keep personal “cutesy” supplies at home due to conflicts and distractions.*

• Disinfectant & baby wipes; Device-safe wipes 
• Purell Antibacterial hand sanitizer

 

Students may NOT bring permanent markers, fidget spinners, toys, or White-Out (liquid or tape) to school
